03 May Charlotte’s Weekend Forecast: Will It Rain?
CHARLOTTE, NC — The Queen City region has enjoyed sunny, clear skies this week, but that’s about to change this weekend when the chance of rain creeps back into the picture, according to the National Weather Service.
Clouds will move into the region Friday evening, creating a 30 percent chance of rain during the day Saturday. That probability increases to a 50 percent chance of showers Saturday evening into Sunday.
The cloud cover will also bring a slight temperature change. While Saturday’s high is expected to be around 81 degrees, temperatures will top out in the mid 70s Sunday.
