The ACC Championship will remain in Charlotte, NC for another decade.

The ACC announced Thursday it extended its agreement with the Charlotte Foundation to keep the title game at Bank of America Stadium through 2030. It’s a 10-year extension of its current contract, which was set to end in 2020.

“Charlotte has been a tremendous home for the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game and we’re pleased to announce the Queen City as our championship destination through 2030,” ACC Commissioner John Swofford said in a statement.

“With the outstanding efforts by the Charlotte Sports Foundation, Carolina Panthers and city of Charlotte, our game has grown into one of the premier sporting events in the country. We look forward every year to this annual celebration of ACC Football.”

The ACC Championship has been held in Charlotte for four of the last seven seasons, including last year’s game between No. 1 Clemson and No. 7 Miami.

The title game will be held the first Saturday in December from 2021-30.
